We live in a world and city that is searching for a solid foundation to build their lives upon.  Jesus said that we can either build our lives on the rock or the sand.  The Rock he describes is himself and the sand is anything else we trust in such as money, power, pleasure, our own goodness, even our family.  Only if we build our lives on Christ can we withstand the storms of life.

At Living Rock Church we want to live and inspire others to live on the Rock of Jesus Christ. Here you will find a community of faith where you will be loved, challenged, and encouraged as you live life on the rock of Jesus Christ.

We are meeting at 1001 S. Douglas Hwy, Building B (behind Visionary and Subway) in Gillette at 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM each Sunday. If you have any questions or would like to talk with me please feel free to contact me at (307) 670-1518.

Living Rock Church is part of the Evangelical Free Church of America.  If you would like to learn more about the EFCA including our statement of faith you can look them up at www.EFCA.org.

In Christ the Living Rock,

Pastor Jeremiah Clapper

I planned to just crush the construction work because I love to work physically and push the envelope whenever possible.  God had other plans for my time.  I hurt my back on one of the very first days and could barely walk after that.  For the rest of the day, I spent a lot of [...]
  • Tuesday, July 19, 2011. My Take on Today, by Sara Dunn
Today was HOT HOT HOT with no rain for the second day.  This was great because the men were able to finish the cement work on the support columns for the new church, but not great because there was no respite from the heat. The day began with a typical breakfast of rice and beans, [...]
